State the spokesmen: “This beloved classic features the intermingling of two different love stories – Hero and Claudio, whose love is challenged by jealousy, and Beatrice and Benedick who work through their past history with each other to find love again. The villainy of Don John and the malaprop-spouting Constable Dogberry add to the fun.”

Free Shakespeare in the Park began in 1983, with its debut production of The Tempest in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. It is now one of the major free Shakespeare programs in the nation.

SF Shakes started in 2012 with Henry V at the beautiful Sequoia Campus in Redwood City and continues to offer high quality, professional theater at no cost.
