The Port of Redwood City PortFest announced that on Saturday, Oct. 1. PortFest is returning to provide a unique opportunity explore its waterfront.
The port is also inviting the Bay Area community to attend the “Rock the Dock” Fall Concert Series, starting on Sept. 3.
This year’s activities will include live music, “family-friendly” activities, food and drink booths, boat tours, and behind-the-scenes tours of the working waterfront.
Tickets for the Marine Science Institutes’ Brownlee boat tours are available on their website.
The port advises Cultural Currents readers to purchase tickets early as this is a very popular waterside tour every year. Additionally, free waterside tours will be offered by the Sea Scouts and Girl Scouts.
