Ferry riders have been invited by David Hardiman’s New Orleans 2nd Line Jazz Band to celebrate “Fat Tuesday” in San Francisco’s Fillmore District.
On February 21, his band will lead a processional parade down Fillmore at Golden Gate Avenue at 6 p.m., which will pass by the historic Sheba Lounge at Market Plaza.
A free concert commences there with Blues and Zydego.
Party goers may then opt to attend a “Masqerade Ball” at 8 p.m. staged at The Origin Boutique Night Club, where umbrellas, bells. and noise makers will be provided to usher in the Lenten Season.
